Caroline Kelly workshop Review:

"I have just spent a wonderful weekend doing a painting workshop with Caroline Kelly. She is not only a truly gifted painter, but also an inspirational teacher. During the two days of the workshop, I was impressed by her phenomenal artistic skills, the general techniques she employs in her paintings and the ease with which she imparts her extensive knowledge and skills to her students. Her atelier is a welcoming, friendly, safe space in which evolving artists who aspire to working in the Alla Prima mode are able to practise the bold, confident paint strokes which her technique requires. I benefitted enormously from watching her paint, from her detailed commentary on the methods she was using and from her specific advice on my attempts to paint in the same vein. Although I am totally in awe of her creative abilities and initially was convinced that I would never be able to paint in a similar style, she is so encouraging and helpful that I reached the end of the workshop accepting that she has put me on a new artistic path which, with continued practice, I will be able to follow.  I unreservedly recommend attending a Caroline Kelly workshop."
